- Support research and policy dialogueon international education issues such as aid effectiveness, governance, and teaching methods.

- Provide a forum for debate, information sharing and discussion among those Canadian civil society organizationsworking to achieve universal basic education in developing countries.
- Develop innovative partnerships with Southern civilsociety organizations committed to the achievement of free,good quality public Education for All.
